A Note on Turkey Tail
Turkey Tail mushroom (Trametes versicolor) contains PSP and PSK beta-glucan compounds that have been studied for their effects on immune system signaling pathways. In a University of Pennsylvania pilot study (n=15 dogs), these compounds were associated with immune-related outcomes in dogs with hemangiosarcoma. Note: This was a small pilot study.
